Plot summary

Northern Kenya. In the wake of the brutal murder of his dynamic and independent activist wife Tessa, reserved and unambitious British diplomat Justin Quayle embarks on a peril-laden mission to uncover the truth. It's now Justin's turn to face those who assassinated Tessa and are now threatening his life as well. However, slanderous rumours mar the late Tessa's integrity. And as the corrupt government and the multibillion-dollar pharmaceutical industry exploit the African people, Justin finds himself embroiled in a knotty, life-threatening case.
